the room felt pretty dated. there was a scratch on the woodwork covered with a marker (seriously?). the bathroom was small, so it got really steamy when someone showered. (i guess i'll just embrace the humidity). i also noticed there wasn't an outdoor seating area, just a corporate-looking space in front. not exactly inviting for a drink.

The art classes were a nice addition to my stay. Binoculars were available on the floor. This was good for looking over the harbour. I also used the free bicycles (which was a nice perk).

The room i stayed in was a bit of a letdown, even with the price i paid. Breakfast was not included, and the cost was $37 per person. I also had to pay $25 for parking (which is ridiculous).

the staff at reception were friendly. i enjoyed the beautiful service when we ordered our coffee from the lobby lounge area. the location was great. facilities were first class.

i experienced some noise from rooms on the city side. the bedding was quite uncomfortable. the beds were small and narrow.
